What is an AI dashcam and how does it help a fleet?
An AI dashcam analyses video on the vehicle instead of only recording it. It watches the road and the driver, and warns in real time about drowsiness, distraction, phone use, tailgating and lane departure. Fleets use those alerts to coach drivers and to cut accident and insurance costs.
What is the difference between a dashcam and an MDVR?
A dashcam is a single camera that records to a local card. An MDVR is a mobile DVR that records several cameras at once to onboard storage and streams live video to a control room. Buses and trucks that need multi-camera coverage use an MDVR.
Which vehicles can AirFi systems be fitted to?
Our systems are fitted to buses, trucks, school vehicles, staff transport and commercial fleets. Wi-Fi, announcement and passenger counting products are built for public transport, while dashcams, MDVR, GPS and fuel sensors suit any commercial vehicle.
How does a fuel sensor reduce fuel theft?
A fuel level sensor reports tank level continuously. Sudden drops are flagged as suspected siphoning with the time and location, and refuels are logged against the vehicle, so paper mileage claims can be checked against measured consumption.
What is automatic passenger counting?
Automatic passenger counting uses door-mounted sensors to record how many passengers board and alight at each stop. Operators use the data for occupancy tracking, revenue reconciliation and route and schedule planning.
